Statement of Qualifications / Interest
Doyle Field Services, Inc. appreciates the opportunity to present our qualifications and we encourage the administration to contract directly for independentHVAC testing, balancing, trouble shooting and commissioning services for your healthcare facilities.
A properly qualified independent test, balance and commissioning firm will assure the HVAC systems in both new and existing buildings are properly installed and balanced, and operating according to design specifications. As you know, this is important in order to achieve proper infection control, optimum performance and energy efficiency, and thus satisfied customers in our healthcare facilities. We can assist you with your fire damper testing and the development of a maintenance program as well as HVAC troubleshooting.
Because we have passed the required rigorous NEBB examinations, we are “certified” in Air, Water, Sound and Vibration and Commissioning.
Doyle Field Services, Inc. is also certified by ASHE for Health Care Construction. We are sensitive to the Joint Commission Requirements.
Since Tom Doyle, P.E., principal with DFSI, is responsible for the quality of service, we would like to provide a brief history of his experience.
The AABC (Associated Air Balance Council) was chartered in 1965 and NEBB (National Environmental Balancing Bureau) was founded in 1971.
Tom first started HVAC testing and balancing in 1973 after his term of duty in the U.S. Army. At that time he was employed as a TAB technician for Precisionaire, Inc., a company that was a chartered member of the AABC. After 3 years with Precisionaire, he became employed with Energy Masters Corporation, a firm that specialized in energy conservation and test and balance. At Energy Masters, he became affiliated with NEBB and became a NEBB Certified Test and Balance Engineer in 1978. He served in a Branch Manager capacity the last few years before leaving EMC. After 14 years of service with EMC,Tom accepted an engineering position with the Facilities group at the University of Kansas.
His final position was the Director of Design & Construction and Facilities Operations at the University of Kansas Medical Center.
After experiencing significant HVAC operational problems from both the owner's perspective and as a consultant, he founded DFSI late in 1997 in order to address the many problems associated with new and existing mechanical / electrical systems.
Doyle Field Services, Inc. is in a continuous process of developing methodologies for organizing our future field commissioning teams which stress problem solving and quality control. We also offer interactive owner training for our projects during our HVAC balancing, troubleshooting and commissioning projects in order to better transfer the knowledge of the systems we obtain while performing our services.
We strive to ensure the best quality, cost and service to all of our clients.
